If you follow me on Twitter, you know I have a thing for cupcakes and brownies. Yes, I dream about them a lot and occasionally I’ll make them, but I recently received an entire box of delectable brownies and brownie truffles from Fairytale Brownies!

Are they as good as mine? Well, they’re different.  I make cake-type brownies, these are more fudge like – very moist and only about 1″ tall (mine are closer to 3″).  I really enjoyed the nut versions, but there are plenty of others to choose from.

I received the Fairytale Dozen – a beautiful box of 3” x 3” individually wrapped brownies nestled in their classic brown box with purple wrapper.  The flavors included were:  Original, Caramel, Chocolate Chip, New! Cream Cheese, Espresso Nib, Mint Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Pecan, Raspberry Swirl, Toffee Crunch, Walnut, and White Chocolate.

I also received the Fairytale Truffles - Nine truffles (3 each of Caramel, Raspberry Swirl and Walnut flavors) all tucked in a luxurious brown truffle box with purple satin bow. I immediately fell in love with the Walnut Truffle.  Just the right amount of sweetness and plenty of nuts.  I’m planning on having one a day for the next eight days. I can’t share these as they weren’t individually wrapped (and because I’m loving them   ).

Fairytale brownies includes information on how to keep your goodies fresh - either in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freezer for up to three.  The arrived tasting fresh baked, so I’m confident they’ll still be fabulous if I care for them properly.

If you live in Arizona, you can pick them up in person as they’re sold through their bakery as well as other retail establishments. For the rest of us, they have an online store.  Shipping is free right now on some items. Their presentation is beautiful and they all arrived in perfect condition.  It’s a gift you can feel confident in sending.

Fairytale Brownies donates a portion of the proceeds from EVERY Special Occasion assortment sold to help support KaBOOM!’s quest to make the world a safer place to play. I appreciate companies that give back to their community.

Wanna try them for yourself? I’m giving away 6 of the dozen brownies (sorry, I’m going to eat all of the ones with nuts :) – to enter, just comment below on your favorite brownie flavor.  Normal contest rules apply.  I’ve shortened the entry time so these get to you just as fresh as the did when I received them, so the contest ends Monday, March 2, 2009, 8pm PST.  Sorry, US only for this giveaway.

Enjoy!
