I first wrote about The Precious Girls Club in September of 2008 when it the first book in their series came out and the website was launched. Since then, the site has grown, added more features, and there’s a new book out!
The books series is for girls and revolved around the life of Katie Bennett and her diverse group of friends. The books ties into the virtual world as well were the girls can continue their play in a safe and wholesome environment with the values embraced by Precious Moments.
The Precious Girls Club site has been enhanced with some awesome new features, including:
- Wings! Earn virtue points by playing games, completing activities and doing good things in the real world. Earn five points for each virtue charm and earn your wings to fly around the world for a week and play the special Wings game!
- Ability for Moms to award online virtual points for real world behavior. Check out the site to find suggestions to earn virtue points offline, or Mom can come up with her own ideas.
The Precious Girls Club is visually appealing and inspires girls to think and create!
Soon they’ll be adding a number of new “Quests” to the site including one to help find eight lost kittens roaming throughout the world and return them to the animal shelter. The animal shelter is where the Precious Moments kittens and pups are adopted from. You can also purchase a plush pup or kitten at the Precious Girls Club Store. The pups and kittens are approximately 6″ high, cost $8 each, and have a sewn on collar that says, “Precious Paws Animal Shelter”. They are incredibly soft and snugly and are approved for all ages. I love that they’re helping reinforce adoption of shelter animals. There are three versions of dogs: black, brown, or gray mini paws pups and three kittens: gray, brown or rust. Katie’s pup, Patches, is also available.
The Precious Girls Club Store also carries the books as well as jewelry, t shirts, figurines, and giftware. I especially like the bracelet charms. They’d be a great reward for a girl working on behavior issues. You can purchase the second book, Operation Kindness for $9.95 in the store as well as other retailers.
Operation Kindness continues the Club adventure with Katie and her friends as they set out to help other kids. Unfortunately, they run into BIG problems on the way. But don’t worry, the Precious Girls Club finds fun and surprising ways to complete their mission. The hardcover book has 88 page of large text and adorable full-color graphics. The book is sweet and easy to read.
The quality of the book, plush pet, and website are outstanding – exactly what you’d expect from a Precious Moments product.

I love that it is a fun safe place that my daughter could play on. I love that it dresses girls like girls not women.

My first impression of the site was one of relief ~ you never know what you’re going to see even with kids sites (Bratz comes to mind for one of the negative images) BUT it was a relief to see a site that seems wholesome, and would edify a young girl’s character and sense of worth as a unique, precious individual. It struck me as a site where a young girl can have fun, good, wholesome fun, without any of the negatives we as parents have to worry about on a daily basis (and esp. online)
I like that it’s positive, interesting and fun.
Little bit to much “pink & sugar” though, at least for my taste!
But overall I give it the thumbs up! :)

I love that it’s a nice site that looks very safe for my daughter to visit — I don’t feel like I have to worry about her wanting to be there as I do with so many sites on line nowadays!
