Big Brother 11 Cast & House Finally Revealed! Premier July 9th

Submitted by Connie on July 1, 2009 – 6:16 pmOne Comment

bigbrotherIn an unusual move, CBS has released the names and photos of the Big Brother 11 cast as well as short bio for each. This cast seems more eclectic than usual and there are some very interesting members.  I think the first PHD in the house.  It wasn’t hard to pick out the Star Wars geek – it’ll be intersting to see how he fits into the house and does with his gaming withdrawl.

Here are the new housemates but there’s one more that’s a secret. Perhaps it’s someone from another season or a pseudo-celebrity.  We’ll have to wait until the 9th to find out.

Braden Braden — International Model and Actor, calls himself a “fashion icon”.
Casey Casey — Teacher in low-income areas, has two sons.
Chima Freelance Journalist, a 31-year old military brat.
Jeff Advertising Salesman, loves the outdoors
Jordan No Profession at the Moment, looking to flirt her way to votes.
Kevin Graphics Designer, looking to cause drama in the house.
Laura Bikini Model, plans to live in her bikini on the show.
Lydia Former Nanny, looking to make new friends and enjoy the experience.
Michele PhD in Neuroscience, plans to use smarts to get ahead on house.
Natalie Tae Kwon Do World Champion, looks forward to the challenge.
Ronnie Video Game Obsessed, collects action figures and Star Wars collectibles.
Russell Real-Estate Broker, will call people out on their mistakes in the house.
Mystery House Guest - revealed July 7th

There’s also a tour of the house done by the pregnant Julie Chen.  This year’s house is “green”.  I give them an “A” for effort but a “C” for actual greening of the house..  For instance, there’s a huge wall of houseplants in the livingroom that Julie claims is “green” because they’re plastic and therefore need no water.   Big “F” there – first they’re plastic and not from a sustainable fabric and secondly, low-water requiring plants would have added important air cleaning properties do the house.  Additionally, in one of the rooms, made to look like a public swimming pool, the comforters are made of plasic (think blow up beach ball material).  Not comfortable and certainly not green.   It’s possible they’re made of a material that truly is green, but not from what the tour presented.

Don’t forget to sign up for the live feeds now and save 25%!  For the 3 month season, the cost is $29.99.  The code is BB11QTEARLY.  I just did!

The house is cute and the 3rd bedroom and “right” shower have all the markings of some miserable houseguests.  I’m liking it!  Check out the video and all the new info up at CBS.com and join me on the 9th!

Enjoy!
